Does my analyser have a leak?

If your analyser has a leak, you may see higher O2 & lower CO readings than expected

To check:

  1. Turn your analyser on and leave its pump running
  2. Plug your combustion probe into its normal socket
  3. Block probe's flue gas end and see if analyser pump slows down or stops - If yes, no system leak
  4. If no, unplug your probe & block gas inlet into analyser with finger to see if pump slows down or stops - If yes, your probe has a leak
  5. If no, remove analyser water trap and block hole into analyser to see if pump slows down or stops - If yes, your water trap has a leak
  6. If no, your analyser may have an internal leak and we ask you to return it to us for repair
