Rob Wiskin Retires!
All good things come to an end and all at KANE would like to wish Rob Wiskin a happy retirement after over 25 years of service to the Company.

A great venue at Alexandra Palace and a great show ensured the KANE stand was busy for the 2 days of the show with the first 10 visitors to the stand on both days being able to claim their free KANE backpack.

The team from KANE were delighted to meet customers old and new at the recent Installer Exhibition at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry early in May.

Huge congratulations to Anthony Iacovazzo from City College Norwich who won the HIP magazine Apprentice of the Year 2018 award held recently at the ADEY Training and Conference Centre in Cheltenham on 25th-26th April.

Going Underground
Following a request from Compass Minerals in Cheshire to demonstrate a KANE AUTO600 Smokemeter on one of their “Machines”, KANE Automotive Sales Manager, Martin O’Dea & Operations Director, Jonathan Hoole went on a journey over 500ft under the Cheshire countryside to one of the worlds largest rock salt mines.

Kane visits Jaguar
Kane’s Operations team visited Jaguar to gain insight into a world-class lean manufacturing facility. Jaguar began their lean journey over 20 years ago building a culture of continuous improvement, which is called Kaizen. Kaizen originated in Japan and is the practice of continuous improvement, which is recognised worldwide as an important pillar of an organisation’s long-term competitive strategy.
