To comply with Government guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19 at both our Welwyn Garden City & Atherton sites we can confirm:
-
KANE have carried out a full risk assessment and shared the results with members of staff
-
Both sites have ample hand washing facilities and all employees must wash their hands for 20 seconds with soap and warm water - Signage and visual reminders are in place. Alcohol based hand sanitiser is available and should be used when necessary to do so.
-
All KANE Employees who cannot work from home must comply with all social distancing measures recommended by Public Health England. Primarily this means maintaining a 2m distance between all personnel on site at all times. Both KANE sites have suitably separated communal eating areas and workstations.
-
Members of the public are not allowed to ‘drop in’ equipment for service nor are contractors, visitors or staff working from home allowed on site without explicit approval
-
Both KANE sites are cleaned daily by external contractors who are instructed to disinfect ‘frequently touched’ areas alongside their regular duties - i.e. door handles, light switches, taps etc.
-
Employees are also asked to read Government and Public Health advice on these matters and be generally vigilant.
