KANE proudly welcomed 23 university students to its Hertfordshire headquarters yesterday for an engaging and educational visit focused on manufacturing and innovation.
The students, who are part of the UH Racing Formula Student team, delivered a presentation to KANE staff, showcasing the impressive progress they have made so far. Their enthusiasm, technical knowledge, and creativity were a testament to the talent and potential of the next generation of engineers.
As part of the visit, Managing Director Jonathan Hoole gave an insightful presentation on lean manufacturing, highlighting its importance in maintaining efficiency, quality, and sustainability in modern production processes. He also guided the students on an exclusive tour of KANE’s manufacturing areas, offering a first-hand look at how the company’s products are designed and made.
