KANE welcomed visitors from IGEM (The Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers) at its head office and Atherton facilities for training days.
IGEM Housing Forum represents companies specialising in rented property compliance. Their compliance obligations require appliances to be tested using a flue gas analyser after installation & annual service.
IGEM members learnt why appliance combustion testing is necessary in an in depth presentation by Steve Critchlow, HSE lead incident investigator.
It also allowed us to showcase our home where we design & build our analysers, explain why we are the only supplier offering UKAS ISO 17025 calibration certificates and introduce our Time to Stop CO analysers.
Stacey Churchill (IGEM Events Coordinator & EDI Lead) said “On behalf of IGEM, I want to extend a heart-felt thank you for your commitment to making the Housing Partner Forum: Gas Combustion and Using Gas Analysers Effectively event held on 22nd May and 5th June a success. As advocates of excellence, one of our key aims is to share knowledge, expertise and best practice across the gas industry. Allowing attendees the opportunity to tour both sites was extremely informative and played an important role in the success of this event. Kane International is an excellent organisation, and we appreciate you personally taking time to provide us and individuals in attendance with an insight into your work”.
