This week, KANE have been taking part in HIP Magazine’s Meet The Lecturer 2020.
Meet The Lecturer gives manufacturers the opportunity to engage with plumbing and heating lecturers from colleges and training centres from all four corners of the country. It also runs alongside HIP Magazine’s Apprentice Of The Year – where they run regional and national heats to find the best plumbing apprentice in the UK.
Tony Coyle, KANE’s sales manager for Scotland and North East England attended New College Durham on Tuesday 28th January and Jan Haider, KANE’s sales manager for North England and North Wales attended Burnley college on the 30th January. Both sales managers presented to lecturers for 30 minutes – showcasing our range of products and explaining how we can support their colleges and students.
Scott Holliday, KANE’s marketing executive said: “Meet the lecturer provides us with a platform to be able to present our Train with KANE programme.
“We are looking at building partnerships with colleges and training centres around the UK. We want the next generation of heating engineers to be using the best products – and the colleges and lecturers to be able to rely on us for support and service.”
In February we are visiting Stephenson College, Coalville and Bucks College, Wycombe. March Belfast Metropolitan College. April West College Scotland, Paisley and ADEY Innovation, Cheltenham.
We are always looking to work with colleges and training centres – please get in touch if you would like us to visit you: [email protected]
